The controller within the meaning of data protection laws is the operator of the VoltBuddy app and this website. Contact: see Imprint.

2. Data Collected & Purpose

The VoltBuddy app processes the following data:

• Account data: Email address and password (for authentication via Supabase Auth)
• Installation data: Installation name, purchase cost, commissioning date, electricity price
• Measurement data: Power values (watts) and energy data (kWh) from your plug – transmitted via Shelly/Tuya cloud services
• Device configuration: IP address (local), cloud device ID – only for device communication

3. Services Used

• Supabase (supabase.com): Backend-as-a-Service for authentication and data storage. Servers in the EU (Frankfurt). supabase.com/privacy
• RevenueCat (revenuecat.com): Subscription management. revenuecat.com/privacy
• Shelly Cloud / Tuya Cloud: Manufacturer cloud services for device communication. Only active when the corresponding device has been configured.

4. Data Storage & Deletion

All measurement data is stored in your personal Supabase account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app. Measurement data is not shared with third parties.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing of your data (Art. 15–18 GDPR) as well as the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Contact: Imprint.

6. Website Data

This website (voltbuddy.app) does not use cookies, tracking, or analytics services. No personal data is collected or stored by visiting the website.
